Finish getting started

I wholeheartedly approve of people getting a start on anything. It’s hard, it’s often scary, and there’s a LOT of mystery hanging about like bats. It’s hard to start, but when you do, make sure you do more than just start.

When starting, make sure you finish the ‘starting’ process. The longer you leave it, and the less intial content you have down, the less professional you will appear. So avoid spur-of-the-moment decisions to get your Linkedin profile up. Plan for a time, and get the profile set up as much as you can in one go.

“oh, this is about Linkedin”

No it’s not. It’s about any project you’re starting or representing. The start is what will kick your arse into gear to continue. Make sure it’s a strong, complete start. No 11pm Monday thoughts.
